Resinall Corp currently has an opening for a Sales Executive that will be responsible for business development.

We are a great company with great pay and great benefits. Resinall Corp, a division of Ergon, Inc., is a manufacturer of thermoplastic resins/polymers used as binders and/or elastomer modifiers in a wide range of industrial applications. Our resins are made from both natural and synthetic raw materials using numerous chemical reactions and process equipment. Resinall operates two manufacturing facilities in North America, located in Hattiesburg, MS and Severn, NC.

Unique to Resinall's core business of marketing specialty products to niche applications, the Sales Executive should be capable of generating opportunities with potential customers, provide a solution to fit the customer's needs and working within the Resinall refineries to bring these product solutions to the customer in partnership. Also, the Sales Executive should be capable of transitioning the business to a small staff of Account Managers and guiding them through the same process. Candidate should possess 7 years in the petrochemical market with proven track record of developing new profitable relationships.

Sales Executive Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and cultivate meaningful relationships within large strategic customer accounts.
  • Present and pursue new product solutions/opportunities in the market.
  • Report to Director of Sales regarding company's Book of Business in United States, Canada & Mexico.

Sales Executive Further Details & Expectations:

  • Candidate should be willing to travel as needed to support Business Development efforts and candidate's direct Book of Business.
    • A good minimum expectation should be ∼ 100 nights/year of business travel
  • Candidate should focus on building out information collected from the Account Managers in Sales Force.
  • Candidate should be able to direct and guide Account Managers regarding in-depth technical questions from customers.
  • Candidate should make decisions on pricing levels regarding their own customers and Account Managers customers based on Supplier Expectation and Resinall standards.

Sales Executive Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in an applicable field
  • Seven years of experience in petrochemical market with proven track record of developing new profitable relatioships
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication.
  • Time management and organizational skill.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with both internal and external Resinall/Ergon personnel.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Due to the extensive amount of travel for this position, relocation may not be necessary.
